Alberto Villoldo: is a Cuban-born psychologist and medical anthropologist who has studied the shamanic healing practices of the Amazon and Inka shamans for over 25 years. He graduated in 1969 with a bachelor's degree in Inter-American Studies, followed by a master's in Psychology in 1972 and a doctorate in psychology at the Humanistic Psychology Institute. His thesis advisor was Dr. Stanley Krippnera consciousness researcher and a pioneer in the study of the paranormal phenomena, with whom he later co-authored Healing States: A Journey Into the World
of Spiritual Healing and Shamanism. While on the faculty of San Francisco State University, Villoldo founded and directed the Biological Self Regulation Laboratory at San Francisco State University, where he investigated the effects of energy healing on blood and brain chemistry. Since 1984 Villoldo directs The Four Winds Society, where he trains individuals in the practice of energy medicine and soul retrieval. The school has centers in New England, California, the UK, the Netherlands, and Utah.

 

Deepak Chopra: is an Indian medical doctor and writer, has written extensively on spirituality and diverse topics in mind-body medicine. Chopra says that he has been influenced by the teachings of Vedanta and the Bhagavad Gita, as well as by Jiddu Krishnamurti,and by the field of quantum physics. Deepak Chopra has had a profound influence on the New Thought Movement that has embraced him in the U.S.

Paul Mckenna: is a British hypnotist, and television personality. According to the Sunday Times he is Britain's best selling non-fiction author and is published in 23 languages.

His career to date includes self-improvement television shows, giving seminars through his company Paul McKenna Training, producing books and multimedia products and performing hypnosis, neuro-linguistic programming and other personal development techniques. Many of his training courses and products provide tips for general life improvement.

 

Bruce Lipton: is an internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit. He has been a guest speaker on hundreds of TV and radio shows, as well as keynote presenter for national and international conferences.

Dr. Lipton began his scientific career as a cell biologist. He received his Ph.D. Degree from the University of Virginia at Charlottesville before joining the Department of Anatomy at the University of Wisconsin’s School of Medicine in 1973. Dr. Lipton’s research on muscular dystrophy, studies employing cloned human stem cells, focused upon the molecular mechanisms controlling cell behavior. An experimental tissue transplantation technique developed by Dr. Lipton and colleague Dr. Ed Schultz and published in the journal Science was subsequently employed as a novel form of human genetic engineering.

 

Gabrielle Roth: is a musician, author, music director, dancer, philosopher and recording artist in the world music and trance dance genres, with a special interest in shamanism. Known as the "urban shaman," she is music director of the theatre company The Mirrors, and has been a member of the Actor's Studio. She is the founder of the recording label Raven Recordings. She has been a faculty member of both Kripalu [1] and the Esalen Institute, and offers classes at the Omega Institute, often joined by her son, Jonathan Horan. Her international institute, The Moving Center, oversees the teaching of her work through schools in New York, California, and Europe, and has certified over 250 teachers worldwide. She is currently teaching experimental theater in New York based on The Roth 5Rhythms and training others to use shamanic methods within artistic, education, and healing contexts.

 

James Arthur Ray: is a professional speaker, and author. He has been featured in the movie The Secret. Ray has also been a guest on Oprah, Larry King, and The Today Show. Ray is the author of "Harmonic Wealth" which is a New York Times bestseller.

 

 

Eric Pearl: Internationally recognized healer Eric Pearl has appeared on countless television programs in the US and around the world, spoken by invitation at the United Nations, presented to a full house at Madison Square Garden, been interviewed in various publications including The New York Times, and most recently featured in the film, The Living Matrix.

As a doctor, Eric ran a highly successful chiropractic practice for 12 years until one day his patients began reporting that they felt his hands on them – even though he hadn’t physically touched them. Patients soon reported receiving miraculous healings from cancers, AIDS-related diseases, epilepsy, chronic fatigue syndrome, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, birth disfigurements, cerebral palsy and other serious afflictions. All this occurred when Eric simply held his hands near them – and to this day, it continues.

 

Caroline Myss: is an American medical intuitive[2] and mystic as well as the author of numerous books and audio tapes, including four New York Times Best Sellers: Anatomy of the Spirit (1996), Why People Don't Heal and How They Can (1998), Sacred Contracts (2002), and Entering The Castle (2007).

She has also been on the The Oprah Winfrey Show, several times, since her first appearance in 2002,[2] and in 2001 she hosted a TV series, titled, "The Journey With Caroline Myss", at Oxygen (TV network), co-owned by Oprah Winfrey,[3][4] exploring the spiritual and psychological roadblocks of life in an intimate workshop setting,[5] apart from that she has also done TV Specials, "Three Levels of Power & How to Use Them" and "Why People Don't Heal & How They Can," based on her work.

 

Stuart Wilde: is an author, lecturer, and one of the most knowledgeable metaphysical teachers in the world. He started writing in the early 1980's and has written 15 books on consciousness and awareness, including Affirmations and The Quickening. His quirky yet perceptive way of writing has won him a loyal readership over the years. His books have been translated into a dozen languages.

Over 20 years, Stuart came to be known as “the teacher’s teacher” because of the impact he has had on other writers and thinkers. When he makes predications, he goes into a trance and tells you what will happen later. He writes that the majority of his adult life has been driven by visions, most of which are personal, showing things about his life or those around him.

 

Don Miguel Ruiz: was born into a family of healers and raised in rural Mexico by a curandera (healer) mother and nagual (shaman) grandfather. The family anticipated don Miguel would embrace their centuries old legacy of healing and teaching and as a nagual, carry forward the esoteric Toltec knowledge. Instead, distracted by modern life, don Miguel chose to attend medical school and later teach and practice as a surgeon.

don Miguel began teaching in the United States, with his mother, the Curandera, Sarita in 1987. He taught small groups of people in a small room in Logan Heights, CA. Working with Sarita, he first began with healing practices. As his knowledge of English grew, he realized that he preferred to share his lineage through oral tradition, rather than a healing tradition.

 

Louise Hay: is a motivational speaker and author, and the founder of Hay House, a publishing company. She has authored several self-help and New Thought books, and is best known for her 1984 book, You Can Heal Your Life.

 

 

Shakti Gawain: is a pioneer in the field of personal development. For over twenty-five years, she has been a best-selling author and internationally renowned teacher of consciousness. Shakti has facilitated thousands of individuals in developing greater awareness, balance and wholeness in their lives.

Shakti has written numerous books considered classics in her field. Her distinguished publishing history includes best sellers Creative Visualization, Living in the Light, The Path of Transformation, Four Levels of Healing, Creating True Prosperity, and Developing Intuition. Her books have sold over 10 million copies and have been translated into more than thirty languages. She is the co-founder, with Marc Allen, of New World Library Publishing Company.

 

Michael Losier: is the author of Law of Attraction: The Science of Attracting More of What You Want and Less of What You Don't, a best-seller that is being translated into 21 languages. A Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, Michael travels the world giving seminars on how to use "Deliberate Attraction"—the artful application of law of attraction. He has been a frequent guest on radio and TV shows and host of seminars across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

 

Debbie Ford: Debbie's first three books, The Dark Side of the Light Chasers, Spiritual Divorce and The Secret of the Shadow, are still known as groundbreaking, pioneering work in emotional and spiritual education. Anthony Robbins: is an American self-help writer and professional speaker. He became well known through the use of firewalking in his seminars. He initially studied Neuro-Linguistic Programming but went on to develop his own methods.

 

 

Jack Canfield: is the co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul and author of the best-selling book The Success Principles.He jump-started his career with his mentor W. Clement Stone where he was taught fundamental success principles that he still operates from today.

 

 

Marianne Willamson: is an internationally acclaimed spiritual teacher. Among her 9 published books, four of them -- including A Return to Love - were #1 New York Times Bestsellers. A Return to Love is considered a must-read of The New Spirituality. A paragraph from that book, beginning "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure" - often misattributed to Nelson Mandela's Inaugural address - is considered an anthem for a contemporary generation of seekers. Her latest book, The Age of Miracles hit #2 on the New York Times Bestseller list.

 

Micheal Beckwith: is a living testament to building spiritual community. In the 1970’s he began an inward journey into the teachings of East and West, and today teaches universal truth principles found in the New Thought-Ancient Wisdom tradition of spirituality. Gifted with a vision of a trans-denominational spiritual community, in 1986 he founded the Agape International Spiritual Center

Byron Katie: is an American speaker and author who teaches a method of self-inquiry known as "The Work of Byron Katie" or simply as "The Work." Byron became severely depressed in her early thirties. She was a businesswoman and mother who lived in a small town in the high desert of southern California. According to Katie, for nearly a decade she spiraled down into paranoia, rage, self-loathing, and constant thoughts of suicide; for the last two years she was often unable to leave her bedroom. Then, one morning in February 1986, while in a halfway house for women with eating disorders, she experienced a life-changing realization. She called it “waking up to reality.” In that moment of enlightenment, she says,

"I discovered that when I believed my thoughts, I suffered, but that when I didn’t believe them, I didn’t suffer, and that this is true for every human being. Freedom is as simple as that. I found that suffering is optional. I found a joy within me that has never disappeared, not for a single moment."

According to journalist Allison Adato, soon afterward people started seeking Katie out and asking how they could find the freedom that they saw in her.People from her town and eventually from elsewhere came to meet her, and some to even live with her.

 

Greg Braden: is New York Times best selling author. You can't prescribe 20 minutes of laughter a day, and for best effect a range of different types of laughter should be combined. In a flash of inspiration Laughter Yoga was born.
