The movies below are to inspire your viewing. There are many themes in the films, excitement, sadness, love, passion, romance, comedy  and motivation. Hope they will inspire to look at life differently. The movies  can be purchased or rented on DVD or Blu-ray from your local video/film shop. This list will be updated with new movies when they become available.


Ambition to meaning - Finding Your Life's Purpose (2009) - In this compelling film, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer explores the spiritual journey from ambition to meaning.

Crash (2004) - Several stories interweave during two days in Los Angeles involving a collection of inter-related characters. You think you know who you are. You have no idea.

Dead Poets Society (1989)  - An inspirational and thought-provoking film that stands up to repeated viewings. Dead Poets Society tells the story of a class of 1950s disillusioned schoolkids who are encouraged to rediscover their thirst for life and creativity by Professor Keating (Robin Williams), their new and unconventional English teacher.

Matrix  (1999) - In a world of 1s and 0s...are you a zero, or The One? A computer hacker learns from mysterious rebels about the true nature of his reality and his role in the war against the controllers of it.

The Five People You Meet in Heaven (2004) - On his 83rd birthday, Eddie (Voight), a war vet and a maintenance worker at the Ruby Pier amusement park, dies while trying to save a girl who is sitting under a falling ride. When he awakens in the afterlife, he encounters five people with ties to his corporeal existence who help him understand the meaning of his life. 

Mr. Holland's Opus  (1995) - A frustrated composer finds fulfillment as a high school music teacher.

Life is Beautiful (1997) - An unforgettable fable that proves love, family and imagination conquer all. A Jewish man has a wonderful romance with the help of his humour, but must use that same quality to protect his son in a Nazi death camp.

The Green Mile (1999) - This is a great tale of a simple man who is in the wrong place at the wrong time. A good lesson in how not to judge people by their appearance. Very moving.

Little Miss Sunshine (2006). The importance of family shines through in this comedy about a dysfunctional family who take their young daughter on a cross-country trip to participate in a beauty pageant final competition.

Phenomenon (1996). John Travolta stars as a man who sees a bright light in sky and awakens to find he has super-intelligence and other special powers. Lovely movie about the human potential.

Forrest Gump (1994)- our favorite simpleton with the heart of gold. A sweet and wonderful story about making the best out of what life gives you. Funny and inspiring.

It Could Happen to You (1994) - Take one honest cop and one lucky waitress and combine a winning lotto ticket for an amazing chance anyone would jump at. Interesting and playful with a happy ending.

Billy Elliot (2000) - Inside every one of us is a special talent waiting to come out. The trick is finding it. A talented young boy becomes torn between his unexpected love of dance and the disintegration of his family.

End of the Spear (2005) - "End of the Spear" is the story of Mincayani, a Waodani tribesman from the jungles of Ecuador. When five young missionaries, among them Jim Elliot and Nate Saint, are speared to death by the Waodani in 1956, a series of events unfold to change the lives of not only the slain missionaries' families, but also Mincayani and his people.

The Last Mimzy (2007) - The future is trying to tell us something. Two siblings begin to develop special talents after they find a mysterious box of toys. Soon the kids, their parents, and even their teacher are drawn into a strange new world and find a task ahead of them that is far more important than any of them could imagine!

Sliding Doors (1998) -There are two sides to every story. Helen is about to live both of them ...at the same time. Romance was never this much fun. A London woman's love life and career both hinge, unknown to her, on whether or not she catches a train. We see it both ways, in parallel.

Conversations with God (2006) -Within every one of us, there is a voice that speaks the truth. Chronicles the dramatic true journey of a struggling man turned homeless, who inadvertently becomes a spiritual messenger and bestselling author.

Truman Show (1998) - In this movie, Truman is a man whose life is a fake one... The place he lives is in fact a big studio with hidden cameras everywhere, and all his friends and people around him, are actors who play their roles in the most popular TV-series in the world: The Truman Show. Truman thinks that he is an ordinary man with an ordinary life and has no idea about how he is exploited.

The secret (2006) - The Secret has traveled through centuries ...to reach you. Interviews with leading authors, philosophers, scientists, with an in-depth discussion of the Law of Attraction. The audience is shown how they can learn and use 'The Secret' in their everyday lives.

What the bleep do we know (2004) - It's a documentary. It's a story. It's mind-blowing special effects. This film plunges you into a world where quantum uncertainty is demonstrated - where neurological processes, and perceptual shifts are engaged and lived by its protagonist - where everything is alive, and reality is changed by every thought.

The Living Matrix - The Science of Healing (2009) – This film brings you the breakthroughs that will transform your understanding of how to get well and stay well.  

City Lights (1931) - A tramp falls in love with a beautiful blind girl. Her family is in financial trouble. The tramp's on-and-off friendship with a wealthy man allows him to be the girl's benefactor and suitor.

Babel (2006) - 4 interlocking stories all connected by a single gun all converge at the end and reveal a complex and tragic story of the lives of humanity around the world and how we truly aren't all that different.

Awakenings (1990) - There is no such thing as a simple miracle. The victims of an encephalitis epidemic many years ago have been catatonic ever since, but now a new drug offers the prospect of reviving them.

About a Boy (2002) - Growing up has nothing to do with age. Based on Nick Hornby's best-selling novel, About A Boy is the story of a cynical, immature young man who is taught how to act like a grown-up by a little boy.

The Peaceful Warrior (2006) - A chance encounter with a stranger changes the life of a college gymnast.

Cinderella Man (2005) - One man's extraordinary fight to save the family he loved. The story of James Braddock, a supposedly washed up boxer who came back to become a champion and an inspiration in the 1930s. 

Bridge To Terabithia (2007)- Discover a place that will never leave you, and a friendship that will change you forever. A preteen's life is changed after befriending the new girl at school.

Pay It Forward (2000) - One person can change the world. Shows how a simple homework assignment can change the lives of many people. See the power of kindness and generosity overcome pain and hardship. Watch it ripple across the lives of many different people. Touching and hopeful.

Big Fish (2003)- a whimsical film about a son’s visit to his dying father. Watch as he unravels the truth behind his father’s lifetime of tall tales.

The Pursuit of Happyness (2006) -  A struggling salesman takes custody of his son as he's poised to begin a life-changing professional endeavor.

Sea Biscut (2003) - True story of the undersized Depression-era racehorse whose victories lifted not only the spirits of the team behind it but also those of their nation.

One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest (1975) - Upon arrival at a mental institution, a brash rebel rallies the patients together to take on the oppressive Nurse Ratched, a woman more a dictator than a nurse.

The Celestine Prophecy (2005) - An adaptation of James Redfield's novel about the search for a sacred manuscript in the Peruvian rain forest.

Gandhi (1982) - Biography of Mahatma Gandhi, the lawyer who became the famed leader of the Indian revolts against the British through his philosophy of non-violent protest. His Triumph Changed The World Forever.
